Coming in
The atelier is on the second floor and there is no shop window. Ring the bell marked Serti; somebody will come down.
An appointment lasts an hour and is with a setter rather than a salesperson. Most first appointments are spent looking at stones under a loupe and talking about millimetres, and a good number of them end with the conclusion that we are not the right house for what the client wants. We would rather reach that conclusion in the first hour than in the fourteenth week.
What to bring
If there is an existing piece involved — a stone to be reset, an inherited ring, something that no longer fits — bring it, along with any paperwork you have. If there is no paperwork, that is entirely normal and we will tell you what we can determine by looking.
If you have seen something you like, bring the picture. We will talk about the stone first, but the picture is a useful place to start.
Writing instead
The form on the front page reaches the atelier directly. So does the address below. We answer everything within two working days, including the enquiries that turn out not to be for us.
Repairs and cleaning
Anything the house has made can be brought back for cleaning, checking and re-polishing for as long as the house exists, and there is no charge for the annual check. We also take in work made elsewhere, subject to looking at it first.
Finding us
The address, telephone number, email and opening hours are in the footer of every page on this site, and are edited in one place under Appearance → Customise → Serti Options → Contact.
